Kevin Chen-Chuan Chang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2001 from Stanford University. His research interests are in large scale information access, with emphasis on Web information integration and top-k ranked query processing. He has been leading the MetaQuerier project funded by NSF CAREER and ITR, for dynamic and ad- hoc integration of Internet databases, on the “deep� Web. The project results have appeared in conferences SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, SIGKDD, CIDR, as well as journals Communications of ACM, SIGMOD Record, and SIGKDD Explorations.
